RUTH LEBED is Counsel for S. C. Johnson & Son‚ Inc. In that role‚ she manages the legal work for the Home Cleaning Division.  This  includes the advertising clearance and litigation work for Windex®‚ Drano®‚ Pledge®‚ fantastic®‚ Scrubbing Bubbles®‚ Shout®‚ Mr. Muscle and Duck, brands.  Hired in 1991‚ throughout the years Ruth was given additional roles as Lead Lawyer of the Americas‚ Product Liability Counsel‚ and Lead Lawyer of Home Cleaning. Before joining S. C. Johnson & Son‚ Inc. Ruth practiced law with Willkie Farr & Gallagher in Washington D.C. where she handled the trademark work for Major League Baseball Properties and then moved to Foley & Lardner in Milwaukee. Ruth holds a bachelor's degree in Spanish and Social Work from Cornell University‚ and a J.D. from Washington University Law School, St. Louis‚ Mo. While she resides in Milwaukee‚ she remains an avid (albeit beleaguered) NY Mets fan!
