JOHN FROEMMING is a Partner, Co-Leader of the trademark, advertising and copyright practice, and registered patent attorney at Jones Day.  He is a trial lawyer with 29 years of experience in intellectual property and false advertising litigation.  He is ranked as one of the 25 “Client Service All-Stars” for intellectual property in the 2015 BTI Client Survey of corporate counsel.  He has won jury and bench trials as well as preliminary injunction evidentiary hearings for advertising and trademark clients across the country.  He earned his A.B. at Dartmouth College, J.D. at the Northwestern University School of Law, and M.S. at the George Washington University Graduate School of Engineering and Applied Science. He has published and spoken in Europe as well as the U.S. on a variety of topics involving advertising and intellectual property litigation before U.S. courts.
