AIESHA L. BATTLE is the Director of the New York State Department of State’s Division of Consumer Protection (DCP).  DCP’s mission is to protect consumers from unlawful, unfair, and deceptive business practices through education, direct assistance and mediation of marketplace complaints, enforcement of the State’s Do Not Call law, and advocacy of consumer interests before state and federal regulators.  Before joining DCP, Ms. Battle served as Assistant Counsel for the New York City Mayor’s Office of Special Enforcement. She is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania Law School in Philadelphia, PA.
