THE HONORABLE WARREN W. EGINTON is a Judge with the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.  He was appointed United States District Judge for the District of Connecticut on August 1, 1979.  He is a graduate of Princeton University, receiving a J.D. degree in 1951.  Judge Eginton, prior to his appointment, was a member of the firm Cummings & Lockwood of Stamford, Connecticut, where he specialized in products liability litigation.  As a member of the American Law Institute, he sits on the members Consultative Group for the Restatement of Torts Third, Products Liability.  Judge Eginton is a member of the American Bar Foundation, the American Bar Association, the American Judicature Society, the Federal Bar Council, the Federal Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, the Judiciary Leadership Development Council, and the Institute of Judicial Administration.
