THE HONORABLE DENNIS A. GRAHAM serves on the Colorado Court of Appeals.  His 2002 appointment followed a twenty-seven year career trying complex commercial cases.  He graduated from Colorado State University and the University of Nebraska, College of Law where he was Managing Editor of the Nebraska Law Review and earned “With Distinction” and Order of the Coif honors.  He served as law clerk to the Hon. Robert H. McWilliams of the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals upon graduation from law school.  He received his commission from the United States Army Field Artillery School in 1969.   He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal in 1971.  Judge Graham is the Chairman of the Colorado Judicial System Personnel Board and the Colorado Judicial Ethics Advisory Board.  He has recently agreed to serve on the Colorado State University Liberal Arts Development Council.  He is also a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
