ELLIOT R. SCHIFF is the Managing Partner in Schiff‚ Gorman‚ & Krkljes‚ a law firm whose primary emphasis is representing plaintiffs in trial and appellate activities involving professional legal malpractice matters. After a judicial clerkship to Justice Francis Lorenz of the Illinois Appellate Court‚ he went into private practice. As a trial attorney‚ he has been twice selected by the National Law Journal for recognition‚ once as securing one of the ten best jury verdicts of the year. As an author‚ he has written extensively including 2002‚ 2005‚ and 2007 section on Legal Malpractice published by the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education on Legal Malpractice. Active in a number of professional organizations‚ he is President-elect to the Illinois Society of Trial Lawyers‚ an organization limited to 200 trial attorneys whose admission is selected by its standing committee on membership for those whose trial advocacy have exemplified ability and ethical conduct.
