TYLER J. SMITH is an Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York located in Brooklyn, New York.  Mr. Smith graduated, magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School in 2004 and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2005.  Mr. Smith joined the U.S. Attorney’s Office in 2010 and has been an Assistant United States Attorney in the Business and Securities Fraud Section and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Strike Force and an Acting Deputy Chief in the International Narcotics and Money Laundering Section.  He has been involved in numerous prosecutions and investigations involving money laundering and anti-money laundering compliance programs
