As President/CEO and founder of Stonebridge Partners, LLC, a leading-edge risk and compliance consultancy, Mr. Firnhaber develops effective risk, compliance, internal control and AML programs for his clients in emerging and traditional industries and markets.  He provides his clients with consulting, outsourcing, testing and training in the areas of technology, operational and compliance risk management. Throughout the course of his 20-year career in the financial services industry, he has worked for top-tier financial service companies, credit unions, management consulting firms, and emerging payment companies such as American Express, KPMG and NetSpend. In addition, he served as an analyst and regulator with the Department of Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) for 9 years, developing an extensive knowledge of global AML/CFT and regulatory risks in traditional and emerging payments industries; formulated policy guidance for financial institutions regarding changes to the Bank Secrecy Act.
