BRIAN CRIST is Chief Payments Counsel for Uber Technologies, Inc. Brian is responsible for all of Uber’s payments, commerce, and financial services legal matters globally. Prior to joining Uber, Brian was chief counsel for Citi Enterprise Payment Solutions, where he represented Citigroup as it executed on a wide variety of emerging payment initiatives, payment network transactions, and merchant offer programs and deployed strategic digital payment products and platforms. Brian has a significant background in counseling companies domestically and internationally on the development and commercialization of innovative payment and commerce products and is an expert on the legal, regulatory, and business issues that they raise. Brian leverages his extensive experience and his love of technology in his role at Uber, addressing complex legal issues for the fast-growing company as it continues to innovate and expand around the world. Brian received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his B.A. from Carleton College.
